What you will get:
Tension is provided should you wish to substitute the recommended yarn for one of your choice.
The pattern is accompanied by an video tutorials explaining all of the techniques and stitches used.
Therefore, I believe, that the pattern is suitable for “ambitious beginners”. If you are confident knitting and purling, and can do a basic cast-on and cast-off you should be able to make the toy.
All of my patterns are knitted flat and sewn together in the end.
You will be given access to your online course, where you will find all of the downloads along with all of the instructional videos.
When purchasing the pattern you will be added to a community of knitters where you can post your questions relating to the toy. I will be able to answer your questions there.

What if I want to use different yarn from the one specified in the pattern?
Usually, you should be able to substitute yarn as long as it is the same weight (DK or 4ply). Also, tension (gauge) is provided to give you more guidance.
The patterns are not suitable for absolute beginners (“I’ve made a scarf once” level of knowledge).
However, if you are confident knitting and purling and fancy a challenge, the pattern should be for you, given that you will be given access to videos explaining how to execute every stitch used in the pattern.
In short, I would say that they are suitable for ambitious beginners or intermediate knitters.
All of my toys, including all of the clothes, are knitted flat.
I do suggest, however, using circular knitting needles (while knitting flat) as it is easier to see the three-dimensional elements taking shape.
